The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit and His work, in our lives and around our lives, remain a
mystery to many Christians. The concept of God, The Creator of everything,
both seen and unseen, dwelling inside of us, is a mind blowing concept.
The Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, being three separate entities and
yet functioning together as One God, is the most difficult thing to understand
in all of Christianity. I believe it is one of those things, as Christians, that we
will never fully comprehend.
    1) We are human and our intellect is not meant to completely understand
everything, especially on a Devine Level of knowledge and understanding.
    2) Faith would not be needed if we understood and had the knowledge
        needed to be Devine.
    3) Volumes have been written on The Trinity, by men much smarter than
myself, and the inter workings of The God Head, and it still remains
         a mystery.

                                          The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit was described by Jesus as a comforter. The Holy Spirit
is not only God in us, but also a direct line to God, The Father, for us. This
is the greatest power known to man, but very seldom used to The Spirits
full potential.
In modern terms, The Holy Spirit is our link, our conduit, to the Throne
of God. This link works for us in two very distinct ways.

First and foremost, God dwelling inside and around us, on a continual
basis. Whether we know it or not, God has become a part of us.
This works for us, as Christians, we can rest assured that nothing can
separate us from God. He is now a part of us. If we allow it, He can help
us in every situation. There is no need to fear, because God is our constant
companion.
We will be able to sing God's praises, just as Paul and Silas did, even in
the midst of pain, persecution, and all manner of evil that comes against us.

Secondly, we have the potential to stay plugged into God, The Father, at
all times, 24/7. Our power comes from God, we can no longer lean on just
ourselves.
For many, including me, staying plugged into God is easier said than done.
Every time we try and do something on our own, we have effectively pulled
the plug on God. When it doesn't work out, God is the first one we blame, even
though we, you and I are the ones that unplugged God's power working in us
and for us.

                                Allowing This To Work

The secret to making this Spirit relationship work, is for us to keep the
lines cleared between God, The Father, and God, The Holy Spirit. When we
allow those lines to stay open, miracles can happen. Not only to us, but in those
we come in contact with.
Our sin, our self reliance, acts like a short or a clog, between our power
source God, and our supply, The Holy Spirit.
If you want a more abundant life in Christ Jesus, we have to humbly pray
and surrender ourselves to God's Perfect Will!
