that is both known to man and still a mystery to man.
His voice could cause men to tremble and quake, and yet His
voice could bring comfort and security to those that heard it.
His voice was the Word, and the Word was with God and the
Word was God.
His voice can move mountains and cause the universe to shake,
and yet His voice is the one I seek, when I need peace.
The voice of our Savior, can do marvelous things. Just His voice.
Can you hear it?
Jesus voice could draw great multitudes of people. His voice can
bring conviction, His voice can melt a hardened heart, or His voice
can put all the broken pieces of our life back together.
Jesus never had to raise His voice to accomplish great things,
though I am sure He did at times.
The winds and the storms knew His voice, His whisper was just
as powerful as His shout. That storm on the sea of Galilee would
have obeyed His whisper, when He said, "Peace be still."
Even death knew the voice of Jesus, and though He spoke,
so that others may hear, He could have whispered, "Lazarus come
forth," and death would have obeyed.
The shear power in the voice of Jesus, must have been amazing
to hear. His voice could make sure everyone heard His message,
and yet, if Jesus chose to, His voice would be heard only by the one
person that Jesus was talking to, like Saul on the road to Damascus.
His voice hasn't changed. His voice still calls out to us, can you
hear it?
In our sorrow, His voice comforts us. In our joy, His voice rejoices
with us. When we are lost and can't find our way, His voice calls to
us and gives us direction. When we are talking to others, His voice
is the one I want to hear, whispering in my ear.
He speaks, and the sound of His voice, is so sweet that the birds hush
their singing.
The voice of Jesus Christ is still leading people.
The voice of Jesus Christ is still crying out to those that are lost.
The voice of Jesus, can you hear Him Calling?
