Satan, Alive and Well

    I have been reading a lot of articles lately about how Satan was
defeated at the cross, and that Satan gave up tempting Christians.
    Let me reassure you, Satan is alive and well, and tempts us every
day.
    How do I know this?
    God designed us, humans, with a free will. That requires us to
make choices. Where there is a good choice, there also has to be a
bad choice. Where there is a Godly choice, there also has to be an
evil choice.
    Some believe that our choices now are between our will and God's
will, because Satan was defeated at the cross. While I will agree that
Satan was defeated at the cross, believe me, he isn't in the Lake of Fire
yet.
    Some believe that we are struggling with our will against God's
will but I don't see that as a choice. I believe Satan puts us between
God and himself and we are forced to choose, one direction or the
other. I believe that in order to have a free will, we must choose
between opposing forces. My will, is the direction I choose.
    All through the New Testament letters, we read about fighting
against sin. Paul tells us to make sure and have our armor on, to
fight against Satan's darts and arrows that bombard us on a daily
basis.
    There will come a time, at The White Throne Judgment, when
all will be judged. Those that are not in the Lambs Book of Life
will be tossed into the Lake of Fire, where there will be weeping
and gnashing of teeth. This lake is also where Satan and his demons
will be tossed.
    We, the Children of God, will be totally and completely praising
God, without the hindrance of temptation or the burdens that come
with living in a sin filled world. Oh, what a joyous day that will be!
    Until then, we must be vigilant, wear our armor that God has
designed specifically for each one of us. If we leave off one piece
of our armor, that will be where Satan will strike.
    Pray for each other. Pray for bride of Christ, in all our churches.
Pray for a Revival in our country and a Revolution against the Powers
of Darkness that plague our world and country.
