come from passivity, they have to be fought for. To all present and former military
and first responders, I say thank you.
As Christians, we are also in a daily battle for our liberty and freedom in Jesus
Christ. We put our battle armor on to fight against the forces of sin and darkness.
Our armor is wasted on us, unless we are fighting for God. There is no rest, there
is no retreat.
The demons and darkness that surround us, are subtle in their tactics, sometimes
we don't even realize that a skirmish is happening between our guardian angels and
the demons around us. We see and hear things, everyday that are picked up by our
subconscious without us realizing it. These relatively minor intrusion into our mind,
leads to our demise and destruction as they slowly invade our souls.
We don't get to sit back and rest. Our battle with Satan and his demons are a
constant battle. Just as our God does not rest or sleep, neither does our adversary.
Our freedom from sin depends on whether we have all of God's armor on.We will
always be attacked at our weakest point. Satan's darts will find the holes in
our protection. Our secret sins, those that we have not turned over to God, is a
perfect place for the next attack.
I write this as a sinner saved by the Grace of Jesus Christ. I write this from the
experience of having chinks in my armor that have to be repaired constantly.
I am a soldier in God's Army. I come into battle with the baggage of sin that I
have not turned over to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
I have to daily get rid of my baggage, so that I will not be slowed down and
vulnerable. I want to be naked before My God, before His Armor is put on me.
I want to be a "Soldier of the Light."
