angel sent from God to shower love and blessings on all she came in
contact with.
She was another mother to many ladies at our church, including my
wife. She and her family sat behind my wife and I at church for many
years and it was always a pleasure to hear her strong alto voice singing
hymns. She labored for The Master in many ways, spreading God's love
to everyone, including the less fortunate.
She and her husband have always been a beautiful example of a
Christian marriage for others in our church to witness and emulate. Their
children are a prime example of passing on God's love from generation
to generation, and now they are continuing to pass God's love to another
generation.
She was always willing to lend a helping hand with anyone from little
children through senior saints and was a leader in our ladies organization.
She passed away after a battle with cancer, but even during this
battle, she and her family displayed the strength and courage that can only
come with God's Holy Presence in their lives. As she struggled with this
devastating disease, she would still come to church when she could, and
bless us all with her smile and her faith in God.
While she will be missed by those of us left here on earth, her smile
and her voice will be a welcome addition to Heaven's Choir. I am sure
she is celebrating and catching up with friends that have preceded her
to those Pearly Gates.
One day we will see her again, but all of us that she touched, know
that we were blessed here on earth as we were touched by an angel.
