I Believe

    No matter who you are, whether atheist, Christian or somewhere in between,
we all believe in something. That something is what keeps us motivated to live
another day. It could be our spouse or significant other. It could be our children.
It could even be ourselves.
    If our belief is in ourselves or others, we will always be disappointed, for
the simple reason that people fail. There will come a time when you and I
will disappoint ourselves and others, it is just a part of life.
    Putting your faith in a god is easier and less frustrating. It also fills a void
that has been there since creation. Which god to believe in, begins a search
into religion and all the traditions and stigma that comes with it, but even that
is an improvement over believing in people, even if the only one you believe
is you.
    I believe in Jesus Christ and God's Holy Word, The Bible. I believe that
mankind is lost without Jesus Christ. As society moves farther and farther
away from our Judeo-Christian laws, we see a growing depravity in our
society. As we have removed God from our schools, as our media edits God
from our news, and our politicians betray their own beliefs, we as a country,
We the People, are sinking into sin.
    If we can't hold on to the one eternal belief in Jesus Christ, then what can
we hold onto. I know that I will fail, because I'm human. There was only
one perfect human Jesus Christ. Believe in Him!
