here, yet.
Our past and our future are out of our control. We can't do anything
about either one.
We can make choices today. Today is our opportunity to do all we
can for God. It is our one chance, to affect today. It is our one chance
to affect someone else's life.
Jesus is our prime example for living each day as it comes. Jesus Christ,
knew what was coming and yet, He didn't focus on His death, He chose
to focus on each day as it came.
Jesus used each day to it's fullest, to take care of others. That is always
where His focus was.
There is an old Christian song called "One Day at a Time, Sweet Jesus".
All we need to worry about is all wrapped up in today. What can I do
for God today? Who can I witness to today?
If we learn to live one day at a time, our fears have nothing to grab
onto. We won't worry about what others think of us as religious fanatics.
We won't worry about the consequences down the road, because we
only live in the present. Think about how freeing that would be.
All our foolish pride, all our regrets, all our unwillingness to do
whatever it takes for our Lord would be gone.
If we lived, "One Day at a Time."
