By Accident

    Some of our most spiritual moments come by accident, at least the way
we see it. We are sitting on a hill and an eagle majestically soars in the sky
above us, and our mind reminds us that we too soar with the eagles as
children of God.
    We will be reading God's Word, and have a verse jump out at us, though
we've read this same verse many times before. We are listening to the radio
and the Holy Spirit in us swells, as cold chills and goose bumps overtake us,
and tears roll down our cheeks.
    To us these seem to happen quite by accident, but I firmly believe that
God plans these moments for each one of us. If we need encouragement,
God sends it. If we need comfort, God touches us. If we need energy,
God provides it.
    God is always there providing for His People, David tells us that God
provides a place to rest beside still waters. God restores our soul. If God
leads us somewhere, even before our enemies God is there.
    The greatest comfort of all to me, is to know that we are created by God
for His purpose and His glory. It is no accident that we are where we are.
God doesn't create accidents, He knows our thoughts, and He knows His
purpose for each one of us, if we choose to follow His Lead.
     Evolution tells us that we are a culmination of millions of accidents.
    God tells us that He created us and it was not by accident!
