Find Your Voice

Finding your voice, is important in all aspects of life. It's important in
relationships, jobs, elections, and your walk with Christ. We are not
to sit idly by and just watch our world crumble. God gave us a voice for
a reason and a purpose.
To sit by and do nothing, will destroy your ego and your soul. Injustice
needs to be verbalized, Jesus was a prime example to Christians about
voicing an opinion. Jesus spent a lot of His ministry righting the injustices
of the Jewish traditions. Jesus stood up for those that were afflicted with
disabilities, as should we.
Our Christianity should be voiced in our government and in our votes.
We should never turn off our Christianity just because we step behind a
curtain in a voting booth. Doing that is denying Christ, just as Peter denied
Christ. Our convictions, our devotion to God should be reflected in all we
do, including participating in our government.
God counts on us to be His voice on this earth. With the Holy Spirit
driving us to act on God's behalf. Modern day prophets are not required
because all of us possess the same Spirit that guided Samuel, Elijah, Elisha,
and all the other prophets. The Holy Spirit in us should resound with
boldness in our words as we speak for Christ's sake.
Today and everyday, I pray that God will restore the boldness to speak
to His people. There are so many that are lost and searching for God, so
many that need to hear His Word and feel His Touch and that only comes
from God's People.
