The Blank Page

The blank page, is something that I start with, not only for my blogs, but
also with my Christian walk. Every day is new and different. What we put
on this blank page, whether good or bad, is totally up to us.
When we face each day, as a Christian, we start with a clean, fresh slate,
much like this blank white screen, I face every day writing my blogs. If I
sit and do nothing my slate, as a Christian, and my screen, as a blogger,
both will stay clean.
That doesn't help God's message get out, in either situation. We have to
be willing to work for God and when we do that, we take a chance of
getting our slate dirty, with the sins we commit along the way. None of
us are perfect, we will get dirty as we plant the seeds of Christianity.
Some will take root and flourish, some will germinate, some will
hibernate, some will die. This is true in life as well as blogging, God will
help the seed flourish in His time.
As a Christian and as a Christian Blogger I have seen this over and
over again. It is like that verse that jumps off a page, even though you've
read it a thousand times. I have blogs that I wrote over two years ago that
people discover and read. I know this because they leave me a comment,
some good and some bad, but still they read it. God continually tills the
ground for His workers to seed. We just need to keep planting, that is our
job.
Planting seeds, puts us in the world with sin and sinners. There is always
a chance that we will stumble and fall spiritually, that is the chance we take
as we work for God. I have blogs that I refresh and update, that I end up
rewriting because my studies have changed the way I approach a subject
matter. That is part of our Christian growth process, as our understanding
of God grows, so does our outlook.
I, like most Christians, ask for God's forgiveness of my sins, as part of
my bed preparation, before I go to sleep. My slate is completely clean to
end my day. Spiritually and as a blogger, I wake up white as snow.
How are you going to fill your page of life today?
