Pray for each other, that doesn't just apply to your personal congregation, or even
your particular denomination, but that applies to "The Church" talked about in Acts.
You see there is only one church, composed of many denominations.
God, I believe, has many believers, born again Christians in every church I've
been in, regardless of the title over the building. I have worshipped with every race,
in many congregations, across the U.S.A. Baptist, Pentecostal, Church of Christ,
Christian, Catholic, Community Churches, Nazarene, Methodist, as a truck driver in
this great land of ours. If it's Sunday, and I can stop, I'll look for a place to park my
truck, and worship God with others.
God doesn't care what color your skin is, what denominational tag is over the
door, He looks at the heart of a man or women. If we are His Child, if we can
look in the mirror everyday and be honest with ourselves, we know if we belong
to Him. The hard part is being honest with ourselves, we tend to gloss over our
own faults, while criticizing others for their faults.
Pray for each other, pray that God's "Church" will have a revival, we are long over
due. We, as Christians, get very content with life as is. Change is hard, it takes work,
it takes in God's Message for our lives, and puts it into practice.
A true revival is a mountain top experience regardless of what elevation your at. I
remember going with my grandmother to many tent revivals, if it was within a two
hr. drive we were going. My grandmother was always the one I went to for spiritual
help. To touch her was an experience that I remember to this day. She was so filled
with the Spirit, you would get a jolt, when she touched you. Maybe you know
someone like that, if you do, get rejuvenated with them periodically.
I pray that all of us, can be that alive, with the Spirit. I pray that this coming revival
will touch not only lives, but the country we live in. I pray that our leaders will
get on their knees with us, and let God have control of their lives.
I pray that God will give us the boldness, to preach His name where ever we might
be. That He will lead us to those we should talk to, and protect us from harm.
If, My People, who are called by My Name, will humble
themselves, and pray, I will heal their land.
