LORD, What Now

Life's Curves and Bumps

LORD, what now ?
LORD, I know everything is in your control, but .........
We, Christians, at some point in time, have all asked GOD those tough questions ? We have even gotten angry with GOD. I remember a King David that got so mad at GOD, that he went into the HOLY of HOLIES and touched the Ark of the Covenant. I know there have been times that I've yelled at GOD, because of losing jobs, girlfriends, relatives dying.
I can't imagine, not getting angry, when it seems that GOD is against you. I think of Job, losing family, possessions, friends, why, because Satan was allowed to test Job. Job was tested far more than most of us will ever be. He questioned GOD, talked about his faith with his friends, even while his friends questioned his faith.
Remember, GOD never promised us an easy road. HE never said, you will love how I discipline you. GOD never said the straight and narrow wouldn't have speed bumps. Then if we add the curves, from where we wonder off the path. Sometimes our detours are a long way, out of route.
LORD, my life was going smoothly, why didn't you leave me alone, then I think about how empty my life would be without GOD. He has saved my life, so many times I've lost count. I'm a truck driver, I get frustrated sometimes, when things that are out of my control, make me late. Then I drive by a serious accident, and thank GOD for the delay, as I pray for those involved.
I am currently out of work. Waiting for GOD, to lead me to my next employer. Praying about every application I turn in. I know this is just another bump in the road of my life. I know GOD will take care of me and my family. I trust HIM, because HE has never failed me, even though in the midst of my trials, I might question what HE's doing.
Don't be afraid to question GOD. Don't be afraid to talk to GOD without fear. After all, we are HIS children, and I don't think children should ever be afraid to talk to their parents. But we also have to remember, GOD can turn our favorite phrase against us. BECAUSE I SAID SO.
Remember always, GOD loves you. Remember, HE disciplines us, because HE loves us. Remember, if we let GOD lead, we will not know where HE is leading, but it will be worth it in the end. AND WE WILL BE BETTER FOR IT. THANK YOU, GOD !
