The PLUM LINE

    First, since I am sure there are some that don't know what a plum line is. If you
 have a long piece of string with a weight on the bottom of it and hold it out, the
weight will make the string  vertical, much the same as water always searches for
horizontal. That vertical string is called a plum line.
    In Amos 7: 7&8 GOD talks about how far out of plum Israel is. We Christians
are not any better than them. GOD'S plum line is true, no room for error. We
all fall short, very, very short of GOD'S perfection. Our imperfection puts us
in Hell. Only through the blood of JESUS CHRIST, can we be saved.
    I would like to think that I'm good enough. You would like to think you are good
enough. The truth hurts, especially when you and I don't listen, especially when it,
 the truth, tries to warn us of our inpending doom. Listen to the voice of GOD,
hear HIS call.
    Before time began GOD loved you. Before the fall of man GOD loved you. Before
Abraham GOD loved you. Before David GOD loved you. Before the kingdoms of
the world, GOD loved you.
    GOD knew before life, as you know it, that HIS creation would need a SAVIOR,
that GOD's ONE AND ONLY SON WOULD LAY DOWN HIS LIFE
FOR HIS CHILDREN, HIS BRIDE, THE CHURCH.   
    We, HIS CHURCH, are asked to follow JESUS's example. JESUS gave it all,
every drop of blood, HE gave HIS perfect flesh, HE gave HIS very soul to carry
 our sins away.
    Our task is simple really, follow the leader, we used to play that as kids. The
problem is we have to give everything away. Our talent becomes HIS talent to use.
Our body becomes a tool to use for HIS GLORY. Our mind, our very thoughts
become HIS thoughts. Our soul is filled with HIS HOLY SPIRIT.
    I can't wait to take the jewels from my life, and take my heavenly crown and with
tears of joy falling down my face, lay it all at THE MASTERS FEET.
HE deserves all of me, all the time.
