Make Each Day Special!

God gives us a present every single day. when we open our eyes. If your eyes
open, God has given you another day to help change someones life. Another
day to laugh, to sing, to smile, another day to help someone else do the same.
God promised each of his Children an abundant life, a life that is filled up and
overflowing with everything God has created. A lot has to do with our approach to
life. We can dread life, which automatically puts a damper on everything we say
and do or we can look for the fun and joy in everything we do.
When we start to look for the fun in our jobs, in our chores, in our life, then we
can begin to see the world with different eyes. Every chore, every job, begins to
be a way with sharing with each other. An opportunity to share God with the world,
in a way that is neither threatening or scary, but simply conversation.
It is not very difficult to bring God into conversations when you are looking for
the good and fun, in everything you do. But it is extremely difficult, when we are
sitting there with a frown on our face and grumpy. Besides who wants to worship
a God, that lets His people feel like that.
I am not saying Christians should never have a down day, because we are human,
that have emotions, depression, grieving, sadness, can affect us at any time. While
those are a part of life, in general, I think Christians should be the happiest people
on the face of the earth.
We have a Heavenly Father that loves us, unconditionally. We have a brother,
friend, advocate, and Savior in Jesus Christ, that loves us, died for us, and now
lives for us and protects us. We have The Holy Spirit, who also loves us, comforts
us in times of trials, and not only dwells in us but also pours His Blessings over us.
Luke 6:38 tells us that if we give, it will be returned to us, pressed down, shaken
and overflowing. That is not only talking about physical things, but also about
sharing and giving all that we have spiritually also. Telling others about our Lord and
Savior, has returns for us beyond measure.
