We used to sing this song in church that said, I must tell Jesus
all of my trials. I can not bear these burdens alone. We must tell
Jesus our burdens, I get that, but to not help others find Jesus
is very selfish on our part.
After all it's not like Jesus can't handle any more burdens. Jesus
took on the whole worlds burden from the beginning of time till
the end of time and still was able to carry His cross. If we tell
others about our Savior, The Church, grows and that is a very
good thing.
We should have an urgency to tell others about Jesus Christ.
We should have that giddy feeling of bursting, if we don't tell
someone. Jesus Christ, should make us go from person to person
with our wonderful news.
Everyday should have new adventures of telling others about
Jesus Christ.
Do you remember the joy you had, that light feeling, where
your feet barely touched the ground? Your sins were washed away
and immediately filled with the Holy Spirit.
I remember telling my family and friends about my experience.
I wanted everyone to find what I had found, in Jesus Christ. I
couldn't contain myself. That is the way everyday with Jesus
should feel, but we get busy with our lives, add some trials and
temptations, and our burdens come back to haunt us.
Everyday we need to bring Jesus Christ, back to the forefront
of our thinking. We need to spend time with Him, praying and
meditating on God's Word. Last but certainly not least, is to give
Jesus all of our worries, all of our burdens. Picture yourself taking
off a very heavy backpack, you know the ones you can't wait to
get off your back, and laying it at the foot of the cross. Picture
yourself walking away and leaving that backpack of worries and
troubles behind.
Feel the lightness of your step, feel the Holy Spirit filling the
void left by everything you left at the cross. Now your ready,
now the spiritual juices start flow and course throughout your body.
Now, now, I must tell someone, everyone, about my Jesus!
