about how hard it is to love ourselves. This learning to love is a hard
lesson to learn, but needed, if we are to love others.
in loving someone.
When we love someone, we open ourselves up to mental anguish, heart
break, emotional ties, feelings beyond comprehension. Our lives are no
longer our own, but rooted into another human being. A human being that
we have no control over. We see this in every loving relationship, we give
up controlling our own lives, because someone outside of our control, has
a direct affect on everything we do.
We see this in marriages, raising children, and all of our relationships,
when we allow someone else to effect out responses, we lose control.
Control was never designed to be ours, we were designed to give God
control of our lives. The more we love others, the less control we have of
our lives, the more we need to give ourselves over to God's control. God
has the capabilities to control us and everything that affects us.
The risk comes, in giving up control of our lives. We have no clue where
God will lead us or what He will ask us to do. We have to risk everything,
in order to gain everything.
One of the lines from the song says, I am loved, I can risk loving you,
because the one Who knows me best, loves me most. Our risk, comes with
a price. The price is all of me. I risk everything for, My Creator, which allows
me the freedom, to risk everything loving you.
I can risk everything in loving you, because The One Who Knows Me Best,
LOVES ME MOST!
