Faith Akers: Pray For Me

I very seldom ask for personal prayers, (not because I don't need your prayers),

but because my ministry deals with other peoples needs. My wife and I enjoy

helping the homeless and therefore focus on those in need.

I have been off work since October 1, 2012, because of some injuries suffered

when I fell out of a trailer while working. I have been on workman's comp. since

my injury. They did a complete rotator cuff repair on my right shoulder in July of

2012. The rehab. on my shoulder has been slow but steady. I have full rotation in

the shoulder now and slowly building up strength again in my right arm.

My Dr. will be doing surgery on my right knee on February 28, 2014. Then I

will start rehab on my knee and continue with my shoulder. There is still nerve

damage in my right arm, neck, and lower back that will have to be addressed at

some point in the future.

Before the surgery, I have a deposition to endure at my attorney's office,

that I am not looking forward to.

These things all wreak havoc with my mind, body and spirit sometimes but your

prayers and support are always helpful.

Sandy and I have been working on a new and improved website for Akers-

Enterprises.com called Faith Akers Ministry. We will be using our

Akers-Enterprises Christian Store as support for this ministry, as we are paid a

small percentage of all sales through our store. If you go to Amazon for non-

christian products through our Christian Store, then our ministry will also benefit.

We have set up our ministry this way, because we all buy things we need, and

in that way, we won't be taking from your other benevolence giving. This money

will help Sandy and I as we strive to do God's work with the homeless and those

in need.
