The future is filled with new electronic gadgets and toys. More and more of our
lives are entered into our computers, pads and phones on a daily basis. You can
these electronic gadgets every where, including Akers-Enterprises.com/electronics.
While our accounts and schedules are continually at our finger tips, we are also
finding ourselves more and more susceptible to identity theft and our lives being
centralized into cyberspace.
We used to have our lives divided between different accounts and banks, only
leaving a fraction of our world available to a potential thief. Now our lives are lived
in the electronic world, where one hacker can drain every single account you have
with a single key stroke.
If you don't think this is possible, just ask any banker about how funds are
transferred, it is by a key stroke, not an armored car. All this technology was
foretold by John in Revelation 2,000 years ago in God's Holy Word. The number
666 could be a routing code that we, as consumers use everyday, as we route
money through instant deposit or credit cards. John would not know of any of
this modern technology, but his explanations of what he saw in his vision, looks
a lot like our modern world.
I was sitting at Wal-Mart today, waiting on my wife to get done shopping. I was
sitting behind the cash registers, watching the transactions happen. People waved
a card through a machine and paid for their purchase, they could even ask for more
money out of their bank accounts. Very few used cash, it would be very easy to have
a plastic society, without physical money.
Next time you read Revelation, stop and think about a first century Apostle,
trying to explain what he saw in a vision. Then stop and think about what we
are doing with our credit cards and money.
The Rapture may be closer than we know!
