Happy Birthday To Me

    Today is my 59th birthday, if my grandma Lawler was still around, I would hear
about the shoes she wore out while pacing at the hospital in San Jose, Ca.
    God has allowed me to witness and see many things in this life. Some were
amazing, like watching man walk on the moon. Some were tragic, like President
Kennedy being assassinated, and President Reagan being wounded.
    I have lived to see astronauts give their lives to chase the dreams of space travel.
I have seen war after war, involving our military men and women. I refuse to call
them police actions or conflicts, because if our people are on the firing line, it is
war.
    I have witnessed some of the greatest athletes, doing amazing things with their
bodies. I have witnessed great plays, but at the same time, I have seen our athletes
fall flat on their faces away from sports.
    I have witnessed the Twin Towers being built and watched in horror as they
came down with thousands of people trapped in them. I have witnessed and felt
the rumble from the Oklahoma Bombing as I was in my second day of truck
driving school in El Reno, Ok. when the Federal Building was blown up by one
of our own citizens.
    I have witnessed telephones develope from Party lines with different rings for
each household to phones we carry everywhere and do almost anything with.
    I have witnessed our country going from hard working and fun loving to people
expecting the government to pay them for sitting at home and rioting when they
feel they don't get enough in hand-outs.
    I have also witnessed our country, spit in the very face of God, that our ancestors
worshipped. We have gone from a moral society to a society that embraces killing
babies at an alarming rate, and where homosexuals are not only out of the closet,
but getting married in the very churches that preached against immorality.
    While I love this country and some of our accomplishments, I love my Lord and
Savior more. I would love to see our country turn back to God and His moral
standards.
    I pray each day that this ministry can reach out and touch someones life. You
can help me in this endeavor, call it a birthday present. Tell others, share with
others, the work of this ministry. Someone that you know could need what God
has placed on my heart each day. I believe God uses each of us for His purposes
if we are willing to be used. May God bless you and keep you safe in His Arms!
