Help Me

Help Me, is a universal cry of distress. Help me, I'm blub, blub, blub.
Help me, I'm hurt. Help me, I've fallen and I can't get up. Help me, bring
the groceries into the house.
Help me, is used whenever we need assistance with anything.
sometimes it is put into a question. Can you help me? Will you help me?
Peter, called out, help me, when he started to sink.
We have the ability to ask for Jesus' guidance everyday of our lives.
We don't have to wait on an emergency. We don't have to wait till we
are in trouble. We don't have to be desperate. We can call on Him,
anywhere, at anytime, 24/7.
    Why do we wait?
Why do we allow ourselves to struggle?
Jesus tells us to call on Him. I would rather call on Him as my friend,
my brother, my constant companion. Instead of calling on Him as my
emergency contact all the time.
Yes, I know He will be there in an emergency, every time. But I would
rather that I walk with Him daily, and talk with Him daily, then maybe
I can avoid the emergency calls for, Help Me!
I come to the garden alone, while the dew is still on the roses.
His voice I hear falling on my ear.
His voice to me is calling.
    And He walks with me,
    And He talks with me,
And He tells me, I am His own.
