Dr. and Therapy Update

    I went to see Dr. Silver on Tuesday. He was pleased with my progress and
approved another 6 weeks of therapy. I told him about some issues that I was
having with my neck, he said he would have been surprised if I didn't feel
discomfort in my neck, while exercising my shoulder.
    We talked about my knee surgery, and he would like to have shoulder rehab.
done before we start on another body part. He did give me an O.K. to drive
the car, but I have to be cautious because of slowed re-action time from injuries.
That will take a lot of pressure off my chauffeur ( my wife ) and allow her to
concentrate on her projects.
    My therapy has been progressing slowly, I am able to exercise with 20 lbs.
on all the equipment. Which for me is a major step forward from stretching
rubber strips.
    The pain is subsiding, except after workouts or activity at home. I am able
to help Sandy with minor household chores, which helps me feel useful.
    Thank you for all of your prayers and concerns during my recovery. As
always I am anxious to see how God will use me.
