Give God Your Best

    Give God your best, means a whole lot more than most people think.
God asks us to do everything, as if we were working for Him. If we did
that, our production rate in this country would definitely go up.
    If you did everything, like you were working for God, it would change
what in your life. You would never be late for work, then you could avoid
the lie for why your late. You would spend more time working and less
time talking or checking out Facebook and E-mails.
    You would love more, and hate less. You would be a better friend, a
better spouse. Your compassion for others would go up, as your
sarcasm declined. You would think before you speak. You would also
think before you hit send on e-mails or Facebook.
    You would wake up with a different attitude about work. You would
drive differently, no more road rage. You would treat your children a
little differently, realizing how fortunate you are to have them in your
life.
    You would realize how special your spouse is, considering God made
them with you, specifically, in mind. Since God always wants the best
for us, maybe we would trust Him more and rely on ourselves less.
    I know that I have used the word, you, a lot in this blog, but this
same thoughts apply to me. We all need to work, as if working for
God. That's one way Christianity can change the world.
