Offensive Language ( Political Correctness )

    Words that are offensive to certain people, have changed our history
books, and the language Christians use, so as not to be offensive. I
think this hurts our country as well as our Christianity.
    Master, Lord, vs. servant, slave, all are used in the Bible, how as
Christians do we talk about our relationship with God. In the Old and
New Testament, we have a Master, slave relationship with God. We
are God's servants. Some would find this language offensive, but they
also find the word, submissive to be offensive.
    Calling sin, sexual sin, evil, harlot, adulteress, pornography, Satan,
Satanic, homosexuality, lying, cheating, stealing, murder, evil in the
sight of God, Sin is Death, an Abomination in the Sight of God, these
terms are also offensive in the eyes of some.
    How can we talk honestly with each other, if the driving force in our
conversations is not to offend anyone. The word racist gets thrown around
so much, I wonder if we even know what it means, anymore. Every race
can be racist to every other race. I don't care what color your skin is, you
can be racist to someone of a different skin color.
    The terms we used in the 60's are racist in the 2000's. Not any of the
bad terms, Martin Luther King, called himself a Negro, in the 60's that
was OK, not now, they are African Americans. Indians used to be called
Indians, now they're Native Americans. Mexican's were people from Mexico,
now they are Latin Americans. Let's be honest, we are all American's. Latin
isn't spoken anywhere. The Indians had many languages, most of them lost,
but none called Native. And African Americans, most can't speak a single
African language, according to Bill Cosby, one of my favorite comics.
    Our feelings getting hurt, keeping us from talking to each other honestly,
Justice Thomas, was called an Uncle Tom by a Democrat, that didn't know
it was a racist comment, you'll have to excuse him he's young and white.
We have people wanting to change the names of football teams, mascots,
terminology, buildings, all in the name of racism.
    WE are so tied up in this GARBAGE, that we can't have honest conver-
sations anymore. We are busy swatting flies and miss the Tyrannosaurus
Rex in the room. God first, Family next, Country, that's what America used
to be about.
IF MY PEOPLE, WHO ARE CALLED BY MY NAME, WILL HUMBLE
THEMSELVES AND PRAY, I WILL HEAL THEIR LAND.
