HIDE ME

    Hide me LORD, hide me from Satan so that he can not tempt me.
    How many times I've prayed that prayer.
    In the midst of my addiction, I prayed it often, but sometimes the answer was
NO. God wanted to help me fight my addiction, HE helped me build up a
resistance through HIM. HE knew I couldn't fight it alone. I started calling on
HIM sooner and HE was always there waiting for me.
    Some times GOD leaves us exposed, so we will call on HIM.
    Hide me LORD, hide me from trouble, as I travel today.
    As a truck driver, there was never a day I did not pray this prayer. Mile after
mile HE protected me. I saw accidents all around me at times, but I was not
involved in them. God  protected me for over 1,500,000 miles accident free.
    Hide me LORD, hide me in your loving arms.
    When ever I called HE has always been there. Death in the family,HE is there.
Trouble at home, HE is there. Problems at work, HE is there. Trials in life, HE is
there. Uncertainty of which way to go, HE is there. Church problems, HE is there.
    Hide me LORD, as I go through this depression.
    As I went through the darkness of my deepest depression,  HE was there. In
fact HE covered me, shielded me till it was safe to come out. HE was the
reason for my recovery. HE was there all the time.
    Hide in that safe haven of rest, that only GOD can provide.
