LOST

    Have you ever been lost?
    Maybe as a child you wandered off from your parents or you watched to see
their reaction, but you had them in sight all along.
    Hide and seek was fun, but what if you were never found, or worse yet found
then lost all over again. This is the roller coaster we get on when we try to live in
both worlds, GOD'S and Satan's. GOD finds us, chooses us, picks us out of
the crowd. HE lets us know how special we are, starts building our home in
glory land, gives us a new identity to start over with. HE changes us, but, we try
to hold on to what we know, what we are comfortable with, even if that means
holding on to all that has hurt us in the past.
    For some this becomes a life long struggle, for others, miraculously they are
freed from their past. I belong to the group that will struggle with my addictions,
why you ask, so that I can help others who struggle with their addictions.
    How do you help someone defeat their addiction, first find someone who has
been there and with GOD'S help conquered it. I am honored that GOD has kept
me clean for 7 years. GOD now uses me for HIS GLORY to be there for others
that are struggling. HE gives me the courage to do HIS work. HE gives me a new
perspective with which I write this blog every day.
    If you need help, put down your pride, you won't conquer these things on your
own. Find a group that deals with your problem, find a Christian counselor, tell a
doctor, tell a pastor, tell a priest, ask someone for help. We are not ment to heal
ourselves, we need others to lean on, and GOD to heal us.
