What Are You?

    We have a chance every morning to face this day differently than yesterday.
    A choice that starts from the time we wake up. We can live the day with a
smile, or a frown.
    You may think fate or karma have something to do with how you face the
day, but really it's a choice.
    A book I read a few years ago put it like this. When we wake up, we can
choose to face the day as either Tigger or as Eeyore. You may recognize
these characters from Winnie-the Pooh. One bounces around all day, while
the other waits for the next disaster. I choose to live as Tigger.
    This may seem simplistic. You may say I don't know your circumstances.
On both counts you are right.
    The writer of this book was Randy Pausch. The name of the book 
The Last Lecture. You see, Randy died from cancer a few years ago. 
The book and the lecture, the lecture is still widely viewed on the internet, 
were written after he was diagnosed with terminal cancer.
    Read the book, watch the lecture. Embrace the day, be a TIGGER!!

that can change your outlook on life. Randy's last lecture, is his farewell to
his favorite job. A great christian message, though Randy's faith is never
mentioned specifically, his faith is apparent.
