The Fire That Binds

    This blog will be a little different, you see, in our town of Bakersfield, California

a Christian School has been badly damaged by fire.

    Sometimes as Christians, a disaster happens and we fold up our tents and move

on. Sometimes when we do that Satan wins. Christians should be better than that. 

I have never read in the Bible where Satan gets that free shot at our other cheek.

In fact, we are supposed to put on the armor of GOD and fight Satan at the first sign 

that he's around.

    At Olive Knolls Christian School, Satan fired the first salvo, but he hasn't won

the war. In fact the battle has just begun. You see, Christians from every  

denomination are coming together to help. The battalion from the Nazarene church

is being reinforced by the battalions from other churches in Bakersfield, California.

    The battle will be won.

    The school will be rebuilt better and stronger than ever. We all have an opportunity

to help.

    If you are good with tools, the school can use you as a volunteer.

    If you have musical talent, there is a benefit tentatively planned for the end of the 

month, bands, soloists, sound board techs, stage hands, MCs, call for details.

    If our GOD has blessed you with finances, please help out.

    Be praying for this school. We all know that winning is in the details.
