Stop, Drop, Pray, Go

Many of us find ourselves making decisions on our own, falling prey to own
human understanding instead of leaning on God's understanding of our
circumstances. God has instant access to how our decisions will affect our now,
as well as our future.
Stop, drop, pray, and go was used constantly by our Lord and Savior, Jesus
Christ. Using Jesus as our example for living, praying should be second nature to
us as Christians, but I find myself in predicaments, caused by me. Simply because
I didn't stop, drop and pray, before I decided to go.
Stop! Stop doing everything else. Don't start any projects! Don't start anything,
without God. Satan loves nothing more than to see God's people not
activating our Power Source and trying to do things on our own.
Drop! Humble yourself before the God. For some, that means simply to bow their
heads. For myself, depending on the situation, I have found myself pulling
over to the side of the road, I have dropped to my knees, I have even lain
prostrate on the floor. I want my God to know that I am at His Mercy,
I wan to present myself as His servant.
Pray! Take the time to pray. Take the time to praise God for His many blessings,
that He has provided in your life. Take the time to lay your prayer request
at The Masters Feet. Take the time to listen for His Guidance (it is so easy
to forget this and then question God because we didn't wait).
               Thank God for His Help!
Go!    Go knowing that you have God's blessings in this endeavor. We have the
knowledge that all things work together for our good, through Jesus Christ.
Our lives become less hectic as we allow God to have more and more control of
our lives. We find that peace that passes all understanding. We find a joy that was
never possible, before we let God have control.
We can have a peace and a calmness, in the midst of life's storms, because we
know the one that controls our storms. If it is a storm that we must go through,
Jesus is there to comfort and guide us. If it's a storm that can be avoided, we know
The Master of the Storms and know that Jesus can say, Peace be Still, and our
storm will cease.
