The Bible

The Bible, the number one best seller of all time, was written
for all time. God inspired writers to write in a way that the common
man would be able to understand. Not just for the time and place it was
written, but so that you and I and future generations could read
and understand it.
God inspired the Bible to be written to draw all men to Him,
Jehovah God. Though God, in His infinite wisdom, knew that man
would divide over this writing, God had it written to unify his people.
He created a book that my grand-mother, with her 6th grade education
could read and understand, but complex enough that scholars still
argue over what God meant.
For me, If God said He created the universe in 6 days, then He
created the universe in 6 days. If the flood destroyed everything but
what was saved on the ark, then God destroyed everything but what
was saved on the ark. I find it ironic that the books that people have
the most trouble with are not the inspired parts of God's word, but
the parts that were dictated to Moses by God. I'm sure if God, in
His infinite wisdom, wanted man to believe science He would have
left all of the creation story out.
I believe, given enough time, man will find out that the science
of man, is no match for the intellect and creativeness of Jehovah.
Man is just starting to work with variable speeds of light, which
has already shown that light can go faster than Einstein thought.
This will change the last 100 years of science in physics, cosmology,
astronomy and every other science that uses light and radiation.
The Bible does not change, it has been interpreted into
different languages, it has even been interpreted into the modern
languages we use today.
God gave us His Word for a reason! When a conflict arises between
God and science, who do you follow? Man, whose opinions and
ideas are constantly changing or a God, who is the same yesterday,
today, and forever.
