workman's comp. case. I will be placed under oath and then
be questioned.
I am reminded of the interrogation and questioning that
our Lord and Savior went through two thousand years ago.
The legal processes that Jesus went through, were designed
to find out the truth, just as our legal processes are designed
to do today.
Jesus' due process was marred by paid liars, intentionally
brought into the Sanhedrin, the Jewish Religious Court, to
lie. Because of these lies and the begging of the religious
leaders, Jesus would eventually be crucified.
This crucifixion, the cruelest of punishments designed by
the Roman Empire. The crucifixion was bad enough, but the
beatings and flogging before hand were designed to break a
man down even further.
Jesus blood being shed was necessary for our salvation.
His blood continues, to this day, to purify and sanctify all
of Christ's Bride, The Church.
I am reminded of the movie, "The Passion of the Christ."
which is the most realistic re-enactment of all that Jesus
suffered for you and I, regardless of whether you believe in
Him or not. You see, the sacrifice was for all of mankind, we
have to accept that sacrifice or reject it, our choice.
I am also reminded of Christ's Resurrection, His power
over the punishment for sin, death.
These events changed the course of history, for both
believers and non-believers, because after this selfless act
the world would be forever changed.
