Compounding Sin

    When it comes to money, compounding interest is a positive thing. When it
comes to sin, compounding just keeps making our hole deeper.
    Have you ever thought about how quickly our sins compound themselves?
    We have an illegal substance in our car, we see red and blue lights approaching,
we can throw the substance out of the car, we can try and out run the cops, we can
hide the substance, or we could just pullover. Anything but just pulling over will
compound our crime, and yet people do it every single day.
    We have sex, we have an unwanted pregnancy, we can have an abortion,
compounding our mistake, or we can deliver a baby to a family that can't have
children, or we can raise the child ourselves. 125,000 abortions are performed
daily in the USA, compounding our sin.
    Someone robs a place of business, speeds off in a car, endangering other
peoples lives. Sometimes they shoot people, to prevent eye witnesses to
the crime. Compounding sin.
    A little white lie, bet you can't tell just one! Lying creates ground work for
more lies. We always have to tell more lies to protect our first lie. This happens
on a daily basis, a cheating spouse, builds up a string of lies, until they get caught.
A person trying to falsely build themselves up, tells a string of lies until they get
caught, ruining their reputation and their ego.
    Satan is never satisfied with one sin, he will constantly lead us farther and
farther down that dark and lonely road to perdition.
    Be careful and watchful my brothers and sisters, Satan, like that hungry lion
will devour you. Watch, pray, and put on God's Armor daily.
