This Ministry

    This ministry started in 2011 as a way to share Jesus, without using the Bible
as a weapon. I decided that with my experience in many churches of varying
denominational names, and various sizes, I would try to add another voice to
God's work.
    I have always enjoyed writing and felt lead to add my voice, in the hopes of
helping one person, learn more about my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This
ministry started with one blog and has now grown to three blogs about Christian
living. My blogs have been steadily growing in their readership, and for that, I
thank God, and those that have chosen to read my postings.
    In an effort to help others with this ministry, my wife and I strive to provide
a little relief to the street people in our town. This effort led us into a relationship
with Amazon. As an Associate of Amazon, a small percentage of all sales through
my website, Akers-Enterprises.com, comes back to this ministry. This provides
money to be used to help others.

    I want to be used of God and plant seeds for His Harvest. When Sandy and I
started this ministry, we prayed that at least one person would come to know
Christ and better understand this Great and Wonderful God that we serve. God is
continually blessing us through this ministry, and with those blessings, we will
strive to be a blessing to others.
