a part of the God-head has unique characteristics relating to us, as humans.
When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit comes to
dwell in us. Jesus called Him our Comforter. The Holy Spirit gives us, that peace
that passes all understanding. In our darkest of times, we have the comfort that
comes from having God in us. The Holy Spirit is like that first cup of coffee on
a cold morning, when you feel the coffee's warmth start in your mouth and feel it
start to warm the rest of you on the way down. The Holy Spirit is like a inside
snugly blanket.
The Holy Spirit is also that quiet voice giving us directions to further God's
Kingdom. He is very easy to drown out, but He never goes away. The Holy Spirit
is a constant reminder that we are God's Children. He has the ability to open the
filing cabinets of our minds, and use our knowledge for God's Glory.
The Holy Spirit speaks for us, when we don't know what to say or what to pray.
He is our direct line, our conduit to the Father's Throne. While Jesus is our
advocate, blocking and forgiving our sin, The Holy Spirit, the very Spirit of God
in us, talks to the Father directly, without us doing anything. Let me put this
another way, Jesus, our lawyer, stands before God on our behalf. The Holy Spirit,
being God, Speaks to God's Throne directly.
When we are right with God, we can feel the full force of the Holy Spirit in
us. The tears, for how unworthy we are, as well as how great God is. The goose
bumps and the chills, as God speaks directly to His Spirit in us and through us.
The joy, that comes, simply because we have a wonderful Heavenly Father.
The peace, that can never be shaken, and can't be understood by the world
The Holy Spirit is our direct line to our Power source, the Throne of God.
