Labor Day is a Holiday to honor the men and women that work
and struggle to raise a family and make a house a home.
America would never have become the beacon to the rest of
the world without our work force. A lot of workers still work from
sun up to sun down, especially on the farms and the oil rigs. These
men and women laugh when a eight hour day is talked about,
because they never work only eight hours.
To all those union members, that put in their time and money
into a better work environment, for all of us.
Work has always been the backbone of The United States, we
realized a long time ago, that you pay people to work, not to sit
at home and do nothing.
To our truck drivers, that move everything we see and buy, I
say thank you! Being a truck driver myself, I know the long days
that we spend away from family and friends. We keep America
moving and growing, along all our highways and byways.
To our doctors, nurses, and hospital workers, thank you for
keeping us healthy and taking care of us when we are sick and
injured, thank you!
To all those that build and make things for all of us to use from
Legos to Skyscrapers, from metal to cars and trucks, thank you!
This country is great because of our work force, and that
includes our military personnel. They put in long hours to
insure our freedom and to have a Republic to live in.
Thank you, also goes out to all the First Responders, you
put your lives on the line for all of us, everyday.
Pray for those that work, that the Good Lord will keep them
safe each day. Pray for those that are looking for work, that they
find a job that is fulfilling and prosperous for them.
Pray that our city, state, and federal governments, will take care
of our country, and quit spending money we don't have.
Pray that God will be praised in America, once again!
