To my new readers, let me explain Faith Akers and Akers-Enterprises.
Faith Akers was started in 2011 as a blog to explain Christian living,
without hammering people over the head with scripture. I try and pass
on practical everyday lessons that I have learned in my 50+ years as a
Christian. I will occasionally give my readers a book or chapter that I am
talking about, because I want people to read scripture for themselves.
If I can help one person open their Bible and study, or reach one lost
soul for Christ then Faith Akers is a success.
I also write two other blogs under the username of jstfishinman, these
are also Christian in orientation, one on HubPages and one on Wordpress.
Where Faith Akers and WordPress are of the shorter style blogs,
HubPages is a more in depth blogging site, with rankings and more
content. I have over 70 Featured blogs on HubPages, and am in their
top 5% of bloggers on Religion & Philosophy.
Akers-Enterprises was started as a way to combine the Christian Blogs
and our 3 stores together under one site. We operate a Christian Store, an
Electronics(computer, laptops, phones) & General Store, as well as a
Bargain Box Store( deals on everything from aircraft to shoes). We run
the stores as an associate with Amazon, we get paid a small percentage of
all sales generated through our stores.
Working with Amazon provides our customers the advantage of a
great big company for their needs, as well as a chance to help a small
Christian Ministry.
At Akers-Enterprises, we use the money generated to further our
ministry and endeavor to help "The Church" and others through this
Christian Ministry.
We are currently working on buying and building web-sites to further
our outreach into the rest of the world.
Currently our blogs are read as far away as Russia, China, Africa, and
Australia,we also have a following in Europe as well as the U.S. and
Canada.
