God in Conversation

God in our conversations would seem like a no brainer, but God never comes up
in normal conversations, my question is why?
We meet and talk to people every day. We talk about the good and bad going on
in our lives, from marriage, to kids, to work, to vacation. God, the greatest blessing
in our lives gets left out of normal conversation. We have no problem talking about
God at church with fellow Christians, our problem is always away from the confines
of church.
If God is number one in our lives, how can we talk about our spouse, number two
in our lives, children, number three in our lives, but number one gets left out. Is it any
wonder that God is losing His popularity? We talk about this celebrity and that
celebrity but God isn't talked about, outside the church building. " Blessed are you
when men revile and persecute you ... falsely on my account."
We don't even give men a chance to revile and persecute us, for Jesus's  account.
I don't know if it's embarrassment, shame, fear, or any other excuse you may want
to make. But if Jesus is number one in our lives, we should talk about Him more than
football, family, vacation, or anything else.
I'm reminded of a song "Evidence" if Jesus isn't mentioned in your everyday
conversation, would there be enough evidence to convict you of being a
