Christianity and Politics

Christianity is neither, liberal or conservative. Christianity is neither,
Old Testament God or New Testament God.
God is God, He is not political and He is definitely the same God
in the Old and New Testament. God has a set of laws that are God Laws
and they don't change with feelings or time. I Am, created everything
including time and feelings, and He knows that the feelings of man is
both a blessing and a curse to man.
God set the 10 Commandments in stone, literally, if The Ark of the
Covenant is ever found, those stones will be inside of it. The laws that
God set down, don't get voted on, don't get Supreme Court Rulings, or
any of those things. God's Laws haven't changed with history, or the
wants and whims of an ever changing society.
Sin is still sin, adultery, homosexuality, stealing, worshipping anything
more than God, taking the Lord's name in vain, witchcraft, and many more
things are sin in God's eyes. We all fall short on the scales of God's Justice,
on our own.
We all fall short too, in the loving department, love the sinner, hate
the sin is a hard concept to live by. Loving people, no matter their
station in life, no matter the sin in their life, is hard. I have friends that are
gay, we accept that we believe differently, in fact we are vocal of our
differences, but we also like each other as people. I have friends that live
in alternate lifestyles to what I believe, but we are still friends. I see and
talk to homeless people, I help out when I can. They live differently than
I want to live, but I can love them.
Love and agreeing with, are two different things. I can love a homo-
sexual and not agree with their beliefs. I can love a drug addict, and not
embrace his lifestyle. Christians are to stand out in a crowd, not be
swept up in the crowd. Christians are supposed to be a beacon of
light, not a lamp shade to hide sin.
Our Christianity should affect, absolutely everything we do. The
way we talk, the way we act, the way we feel, and even the way we vote.
Christianity isn't a coat, that can be taken on and off.
Christianity on, on Sunday, off Monday thru Saturday. Christianity on,
when we talk to others, and off, when we enter a voting booth. Christianity
on after 5:00 PM, off from 9:00 to 5:00.
Christianity is a full time work, if you labor for The Master. It is 24 hrs.
a day, 7 days a week, for the rest of your life, no days off. Saving up for
an Eternal Vacation with God in Heaven.
