who knows your faults and weakness more than you. In fact we make a career out
of not facing our faults and weaknesses.
I, personally have had to face weight problems, depression and addiction in my
56 years of life. I know what it is like, to not like, what is in the mirror. I have lived
with sexual abuse done to me by a "friend of the family". I know what it's like to
think about suicide, running away from the man in the mirror. There is not a lot
of self abuse that I have not thought of.
Only through Christian counseling, lots and lots of prayer, people who accepted
me and loved me enough to say no to me destroying myself, and GOD's eternal
grace, have I gotten to where I don't hide anymore behind my smile. I now know
that GOD LOVES ME. I now know that because GOD loves me, I must be very
special.
It is not love, to let someone die in their addiction. Love them enough to get them
help, if possible.
It is not love, to let someone die in their sin, without telling them of GOD's love
for them.
Just as I was confronted by someone that truly loved me and helped me learn to
love myself. Now I want every human being to find out what it means to love
self, so that you can truly love others, by showing them GOD IN YOU.
I AM LOVED, I AM LOVED, I CAN RISK LOVING YOU.
FOR THE ONE WHO KNOWS ME BEST LOVES ME MOST.
