SMELL THE ROSES

    One of my favorite hymns of all time is "THE GARDEN", its speaks volumes
about how our walk with CHRIST is supposed to be.
    I come to the garden alone.
    That is how our walk will always be, alone with HIM. This relationship is one on
one. If you have a spouse, their relationship with HIM is one on one. As a married
 couple we help each other, but it still comes down to you and GOD.
    While the dew is still on the roses.
    You and I must have a time alone with GOD. This song suggests early morning
before life seems to take over, when dew is still on the plants and the scents of the
day are still fresh and new.
    And a voice I hear.
    Isn't it wonderful to feel GOD and to hear HIS voice as he communicates with us.
Some will say they never hear HIS voice, I always say, Quit telling God WHAT you
want and JUST  listen to what HE wants you to do.
    Falling on my ear, The SON OF GOD discloses.
    GOD will always make sure HE tells us what HE wants, but just like at home we
have selective hearing. Take the time to listen then act, not the other way around, that
saves all of us a lot of trouble.
    I COME TO THE GARDEN ALONE,
    WHILE THE DEW IS STILL ON THE ROSES.
    AND A VOICE I HEAR FALLING ON MY EAR,
    THE SON OF GOD DISCLOSES.
