This is not, nor will it be, a political blog but scripture has a lot to say about money
and what we do with it. Scripture does not tell us, it grows on trees. Scripture does not
tell us, to rob Peter to pay Paul. Scripture does not tell us, to borrow and borrow and
somehow it will all work out.
What scripture does tells us, repeatedly, is a borrower is a slave to the lender, I don't
want to be a slave to anyone but MY LORD. Scripture does tell us that the stronger
a government gets, elected or monarchy, it will take and take till the people react to
stop it. If you don't believe it, the BIBLE tells us of Solomon's great wealth, that wealth
came off the backs of Israel.
If you don't believe it, look at the trouble Solomon's son had when he talked of
raising taxes more.
GOD wants HIS people free. Free to do HIS bidding.
Free to help others with what GOD has provided, not with what we borrow.
Free to love, as HE loves.
Free to go where and when HE calls us, no strings attached.
THE MAN THAT GOD HAS SET FREE, IS FREE INDEED !!!
IT'S UP TO YOU AND I TO STAY THAT WAY.
